I have noticed some of my happiest days are my most productive days. No one likes to feel like they had a long and exhausting day, and look back on it to realize the only thing they accomplished was binge watching an entire season of Stranger Things on Netflix.
The days I feel best, I’ve gotten a work out in, checked a couple big items off my personal and profession to-do list and took a moment for some quality me time!

THREE TIPS to a Successful Day!
Tip One: A Morning Routine:
To begin, I think having a morning routine is one of the biggest tips I can give. In fact, I wrote an entire post on my morning routine! Check it out Here. Your morning is the precedent for the entire day so I think it is so important to make the most of it and set the tone for what is to come. (My morning routine includes, time for gratitude, a glass of water, a quick work-out, and setting my intentions for the day.)
Tip Two: Focus!
This is a big one for me. I tend to get started on one thing, and then (I’m not kidding) 1-2 minutes later I am doing something totally off track. Distracting myself from ever competing the task at hand. Recently, I have made a conscious effort to stay focused. I will work on an activity until A) It is complete or B) I’ve worked on it the full amount of time I allowed for it. In fact, I use the Pomoodero technique! (You break your work down into time intervals, 30 minutes of work followed by a 5-7 minute break ) I use this timer to help with that!
Tip Three: Bookend your day! (Entrepreneurial Focused)
Book-END your day! If I have somewhere or something important I need to do at the beginning and end of the day, I have noticed I make more use of my time. These bookends set the hours of my productivity. For example, If I don’t bookend my day I typically will work from 9am-5pm. But, If I schedule a 6:30am work out class and a coffee date at 5pm My hours of productivity just shifted from 6am -6pm. It also helps mix the day up so you aren’t doing the exact same thing everyday!
I hope these tips and techniques allow you to make the most of your day! Would love to hear your thoughts or what you do to stay productive! Have a great day!
Always,
Coco
