Accessorize to Build your Brand
When I think about fashion I think about building a brand… about building YOUR own brand. I think about opportunity.
Fashion allows you to take your clothes and accessories and put them on a way that is different than anyone else. It allows you to get creative and visually share that creativity with everyone else. How cool it that?
Your visual identity provides a first impression and is an extension of your brand. With that in mind, I think it is important to be conscience of how you present yourself and what you’re trying to communicate with your look.
Accessorizing is an easy way to build your visual identity and share your creativty. I like to be a little non-conventional in the way I put things together. In fact, I prefer when someone looks at my outfit and can’t decide how they feel about it initially.
I used my accessories here to simply to compliment my dress and communicate to my audience the “trendy chic” look. The dress is chic and structured. I wanted to tap into that. This Breda watch (coco15 for 15% off) felt like the perfect touch and the necklace and ring added a bit of an edgy twist.
I encourage you all to think a little outside of the box when putting your looks together. To exercise your creativity and get people noticing your BRAND!
Just remember, to stay authentic to your personal style and push the boundaries of that. BUT, if you’re not authentic you’ll never be confident and confidence is the KEY to any look!
Here are some fun accessories to try adding to your looks:
Hey Beauty!
Love this post! That dress is AMAZING! After having my little ones I so struggled with my fashion identity! I felt like I kept putting pressure on myself to be able to define my style. I woke up one day and said I’m wearing what ever I’m feeling for this day. If I put something together and have one moment where I’m like nah, I take it off and start over. Because that one thought will stick with me if I force it and I won’t be as confident as I would be wearing something based off of my emotion for the day! Loved this post babe!
